ABOUT PHIABoston based multidisciplinary artist, Sophia Dubuisson, known as Phia has been honing her skills in drawing, painting and various different mediums for the past 10 years.
While completing her high school studies, she discovered a passion for art. Since then she has paired her love for Art with her fascination with the human mind. In 2021 she graduated from the university of Massachusetts with a B.A. in Psychology.
Phia blends her portraiture skills with her experience in her field of study to bring about the perfect marriage of her two passions on a canvas.
Phia’s evolution as an artist is a depiction of the essence of life itself. Dabbling into different mediums in the search of “the” one. Trapping the most basic, yet very complex thing that is emotions. She challenges her viewers to find themselves, to revisit those emotions, utilizing facial expressions, movements, colors and composition

It is during these dedicated hours that I allow myself to fully immerse in the creative process, letting go of any inhibitions or fears. This commitment not only fuels my artistic growth but also provides a much-needed outlet for my own emotional well-being.”
